  1. I wrote this ECHOO program in my spare time. I enjoyed myself. Now I'm
  2. releasing it into the public domain. FREE! Enjoy. For a demo, type CHOO.

  5. (212) 355-2414 and let me know. Putting this out to the general public was
  6. an experiment and I'd like to track the volume of users (if there is any!).
  7. If you let me know the kind of uses you are putting it toward I would 
  8. appreciate that as well. Or if you have any suggestions on improvements...

  10. By the way the program was written in QuickBasic 4.5 with some assembler
  11. calls. Source is not available - too much chance to screw things up, 
  12. y'know? Also if you distribute it, please keep all of the files together with
  13. the program, which are ECHOO.EXE, CHOO.BAT, ECHOO.TXT and README.1ST.

  19. related to this program. I'm just one little schnook with no financial 
  20. resources to hire attorneys or deal with any legal problems. I'm just trying
  21. to be a good guy here - please dont sue me if some totally obscure 
  22. combination of equipment software and acts of G-d cause this program to do
  23. wierd things. As far as I can tell from testing it on a bunch
  24. of Compaqs and IBM PS/2s, including Novell and AS400 connected computers, 
  25. this program works. If you experience problems I am truly sorry but I 
  26. refuse to accept responsibility.
